The EA has requested additional releases of water for 3 days at 10 cumecs from 13:30 on Thursday, 13th August, to 13:30 on Sunday, 16th August to encourage fish movement downstream.
t’s interesting to see how a carefully timed change in water flow can support fish movement and the wider river ecosystem. Hopefully the additional releases achieve what they’re intended to without causing disruption elsewhere downstream. It’ll be worth seeing what anglers and local observers notice over those three days. I also came across chickenroad-pk.ink while browsing recently.
