Amended Release Fri, 8th Aug

Update on 7th August;

A message from Northumbrian Water:

Working alongside the Environment Agency, as we always do when it comes to the river, we have made the decision to

postpone the increased release from Kielder Reservoir until later next week for operational reasons.

As a water company, we are used to balancing the demand for water with the importance of the local environment,

so please know that this is not a decision we took lightly.

We appreciate the postponement, and the late notice may inconvenience you and we apologise. Please continue to bear

with us as we keep the water flowing for our customers and the environment alike and thank you for your ongoing patience.

The 3.5 cumec Release will continue through to Wednesday, 13th August. (The Table will be amended on Friday as per normal for next week)
